Sacred Service: A New Meaning for Service!

We’re looking to expand opportunities for our Unity men & women to find fulfilling services they may contribute to our church’s success. Over time, our lay services have expanded into a significant base of teams, each focused on a specific service need.

However, recent growth in UCAV’s membership and its expanding community outreach has shown us that there is a need for a more comprehensive structure for the operation and management of these evolving lay services.

Sacred Services is intended to provide UCAV with improved lay leadership, better coordination of services, expanded opportunities for lay participation, and more adequate staffing to meet our expanding service needs.

The important message here is that the growing success in UCAV lay services is now fulfilling one of the sacred tenets of our church’s purpose: “We pray, love, educate, and SERVE to inspire and transform ourselves, our community, and our world.”

Our hope is that over time Sacred Services will enable everyone in our church to apply their special gifts and talents to both their own spiritual growth and to the growth of the church.
